Dr. Loraine Alderman, Psy.D.

Loraine Alderman, Psy.D. holds her doctorate degree in School/Clinical Psychology from PACE University.
Dr. Alderman has been working with children and adults with psychological and special needs for over eleven years. Prior to working within a school setting as a School Psychologist, she worked as the Coordinator Of Inpatient Psychiatry at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Alderman has extensive experience in working with children with special needs and diagnosing Learning Disabilities. She also has experience in working with adults with anxiety disorders, depression and post traumatic stress disorder.
Dr. Alderman has co-authored a book titled “Don’t You Get It? Living With Auditory Learning Disabilities,” as well as articles in the following journals/newsletters: Omega Journal Of Death And Dying, Reach Out, weekly column in the Spring Creek Sun, and The Nassau County Psychological Association newsletter. She has also been interviewed twice by Donna Hanover on the Good Day New York television show.
