There is an old Japanese proverb that says, “Give a person a fish and he will eat for a day, Teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” Humanistic Consultants recognizes the importance of treating evident symptoms, but knows the only way to truly make a difference is to identify the underlying cause and supply the individual with viable options for aiding him or herself.

Therefore intervention occurs on two levels:

First, Humanistic Consultants works to improve personal performance, helping individuals meet expectations within existing environments, such as school, work or home.

Secondly, Humanistic Consultants works to assess the root cause of the difficulties, and design a program that aids the individual in navigating through the problem.
